La creaci\u00f3 d&#8217;una l\u00ednia de ferrocarril \u00e9s un projecte esbojarrat per treure de l&#8217;a\u00efllament els cantons de l&#8217;altipl\u00e0 de Cerd\u00e0. Va n\u00e9ixer gr\u00e0cies a l&#8217;acci\u00f3 de dos homes: <strong>Jules Lax (1842-1925),<\/strong> director de control dels Chemins de fer du Midi, i <strong>Emmanuel Brousse<\/strong> (1866-1926), periodista a <em>L\u2019Ind\u00e9pendant<\/em> i alhora diputat pels Alts Cantons (1895-1926).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Durant anys, els responsables van dubtar entre diverses possibilitats t\u00e8cniques: ample est\u00e0ndard (amb un ample de ferrocarril d&#8217;1.435 m) o ample m\u00e8tric (1 m) i tracci\u00f3 de vapor o el\u00e8ctrica. L&#8217;elecci\u00f3 fou complicada perqu\u00e8 els trens el\u00e8ctrics encara s\u00f3n rars i la primera l\u00ednia comercial nom\u00e9s era de l\u2019any 1890 (metro de Londres).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Entre el 1901 i el 1902<\/strong>, l&#8217;Estat, que finan\u00e7ava la infraestructura, va prendre finalment una decisi\u00f3. La l\u00ednia anava des de Vilafranca de Conflent fins a Guingueta d&#8217;Ix. Era de calibre m\u00e8tric per reduir el cost i reduir els radis de curvatura del tra\u00e7at. Es va adoptar la tracci\u00f3 el\u00e8ctrica, certament m\u00e9s cara que el vapor, que va permetre considerar alhora l&#8217;electrificaci\u00f3 de la regi\u00f3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El Tren Groc va trigar trenta anys (1880-1910) a veure la llum! Perqu\u00e8 s&#8217;obrin els alts cantons dels Pirineus Orientals. Les dificultats del recorregut en l&#8217;entorn muntany\u00f3s i l&#8217;arribada d&#8217;una soluci\u00f3 t\u00e8cnica adequada expliquen aquests retards. \u00c9s la Compagnie des Chemins de Fer du Midi, avantpassat de la SNCF, la que obt\u00e9 la concessi\u00f3 de la l\u00ednia de la Cerdanya, aporta el material m\u00f2bil i el personal necessari per al seu funcionament comercial. <\/p>\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><a href=https:\/\/letrainjaune.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/Touristes_Cerdagne2\u00a9ADPO-scaled.jpg title=\"Turistes a la Cerdanya \" rel=\"prettyPhoto\"><img src=https:\/\/letrainjaune.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/Touristes_Cerdagne2\u00a9ADPO-1920x1311.jpg alt=\"\" title=\"Touristes_Cerdagne2\u00a9ADPO\" width=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4886\"\/><\/a><figcaption>Turistes a la Cerdanya <span>&copy; ADPO<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-pullquote\"><blockquote><p><strong>El 18 de juliol de 1910<\/strong>, el tram Vilafranca de Conflent\/Montllu\u00eds-La Cabanassa va entrar en servei amb un \u00e8xit immediat&#8230;\u2026<\/p><\/blockquote><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>18 de juliol de 1910<\/strong>, el tram Vilafranca de Conflent\/Montllu\u00eds-La Cabanassa es pos\u00e0 en servei amb \u00e8xit immediat&#8230; El 28 de juny de 1911 va ser el torn de la secci\u00f3 <strong>Montllu\u00eds\/Guingueta d&#8217;Ix<\/strong>. Guingueta d&#8217;Ix ser\u00e0 el cap de la l\u00ednia fins al 1927, despr\u00e9s la l\u00ednia del Tren Groc es connecta amb les del <strong>Transpirineu franc\u00e8s i espanyol<\/strong> a l&#8217;estaci\u00f3 de<strong> Latour-de-Carol\/Enveig. <\/strong>Aquesta estaci\u00f3 internacional t\u00e9 la particularitat de tenir 3 amples de via diferents <strong>:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>1 metre: Tren Groc.<\/li><li>1.435 metres: via normal est\u00e0ndard europea.<\/li><li>1.668 metres: via ample espanyola.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Un tren de muntanya<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>El Tren Groc continua sent un mitj\u00e0 de transport imprescindible per als cantons alts perqu\u00e8 encara avui la Ruta Nacional 116 est\u00e0 regularment tancada per neu o esllavissades.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Durant l&#8217;estaci\u00f3 de fred, la llevaneu t\u00e9 la seu a l&#8217;estaci\u00f3 de Montllu\u00eds\/La Cabanassa. partir de les quatre de la matinada, el conductor i els carreters obren el cam\u00ed i eliminen les estalactites i estalagmites de gel que es formen als t\u00fanels.<\/p>\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><a href=https:\/\/letrainjaune.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/Tailleur_De_Pierre\u00a9Cliche_H._Allard._Coll-scaled.jpg title=\"Canterer\" rel=\"prettyPhoto\"><img src=https:\/\/letrainjaune.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/Tailleur_De_Pierre\u00a9Cliche_H._Allard._Coll-1920x1232.jpg alt=\"\" title=\"Tailleur_De_Pierre\u00a9Cliche_H._Allard._Coll\" width=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4878\"\/><\/a><figcaption>Canterer<span>&copy; Cliche_H._Allard._Coll-scaled &#8211; Cliche_H._Allard._Coll-scaled<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Moltes obres d&#8217;art i dos ponts notables<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-pullquote\"><blockquote><p>Al llarg dels 62,6 km de la l\u00ednia passen 650 estructures, entre elles 19 t\u00fanels i 40 ponts.<\/p><\/blockquote><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Els m\u00e9s destacables s\u00f3n, sens dubte, el viaducte de Fontpedrosa (viaducte de S\u00e9journ\u00e9) i el Pont de la Cassanya (pont de Gisclard), constru\u00efts per evitar terrenys inestables als forts vessants de la vall del T\u00eat en aquesta part del Conflent. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Aquests dos ponts porten habitualment els noms dels seus enginyers\/dissenyadors, Albert Gisclard (1844-1909) de Nimes i Paul S\u00e9journ\u00e9 (1851-1939) d&#8217;Orleans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">El pont de Gisclard <\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>El comandant Gisclard (era enginyer militar) va presentar als Ponts et Chauss\u00e9es un projecte de pont met\u00e0l\u00b7lic susp\u00e8s, un sistema sense precedents per als ferrocarrils. Va ser constru\u00eft per l&#8217;empresa Arnodin, coneguda mundialment per les seves estructures met\u00e0l\u00b7liques. Els seus \u00e8xits \u2013com els ponts transportadors de Bilbao (1893), Rochefort (1899) i Marsella (1903)\u2013 van ser, aleshores, tan famosos com els de Gustave Eiffel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El pont de Gisclard fa 234 m de llarg amb un pendent de 60 mm\/m. Travessa la T\u00eat a 80m d&#8217;al\u00e7ada. La coberta passa per sobre dels molls de ma\u00e7oneria sense descansar-hi ! Aquest prodigi es deu als tirants i als cables de suspensi\u00f3 que el sostenen des dels pilons met\u00e0l\u00b7lics i l&#8217;estabilitzen. Els cables de suspensi\u00f3 es fixen en cambres d&#8217;ancoratge excavades a la roca.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Va ser repintat l&#8217;any 2009 per una empresa especialitzada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-pullquote\"><blockquote><p>\u00c9s el pont penjant ferroviari m\u00e9s antic de Fran\u00e7a, l&#8217;\u00fanic que encara est\u00e0 en servei, classificat <strong>Monument Hist\u00f2ric <\/strong>des del 29 d&#8217;abril de 1997.<\/p><\/blockquote><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">El viaducte S\u00e9journ\u00e9 (1906 \u2013 1908)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:33.33%\"><figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><a href=https:\/\/letrainjaune.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/Paul-Sejourne-\u00a9-Pierre-Cazenove.jpg title=\"Paul S\u00e9journ\u00e9 \" rel=\"prettyPhoto\"><img src=https:\/\/letrainjaune.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/Paul-Sejourne-\u00a9-Pierre-Cazenove.jpg alt=\"\" title=\"Paul S\u00e9journ\u00e9 \u00a9 Pierre Cazenove\" width=\"157\" class=\"wp-image-2415\"\/><\/a><figcaption>Paul S\u00e9journ\u00e9 <span>&copy; Pierre Cazenove<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:66.66%\">\n<p>Paul S\u00e9journ\u00e9 va dissenyar molts ponts de ma\u00e7oneria, el de Fontpedrosa \u00e9s una de les seves obres m\u00e9s originals, un viaducte de dos pisos amb una sorprenent ogiva central que sost\u00e9 un moll.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El viaducte t\u00e9 una llargada de 217 m amb un pendent de 60 mm\/m. Al nivell inferior, l&#8217;ogiva central amb una llum de 30 m abasta la T\u00eat a una al\u00e7ada de 65 m. El viaducte superior travessa la vall de la T\u00eat gr\u00e0cies a 16 arcs. Les piles tenen un gruix decreixent amb nom\u00e9s 2,5 m a nivell de la coberta que, gr\u00e0cies a un innovador \u00fas del formig\u00f3, suportar\u00e0 una plataforma de 4,50 metres.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Aquest llibre figura a l&#8217;Inventari Suplementari de Monuments Hist\u00f2rics des de 1994. En efecte, al tenir el T\u00eat un cabal massa baix, va ser necessari dissenyar un embassament per compensar la manca d&#8217;aigua. El jaciment de Bollosa va ser trobat l&#8217;any 1842 per un jove enginyer hidr\u00e0ulic, Antoine Tastu. La presa, prevista inicialment per al reg, es dedicava principalment a la producci\u00f3 d&#8217;electricitat del Tren Groc. En acabar els treballs, l&#8217;embassament es va lliurar a la concession\u00e0ria, la Compagnie des Chemins de Fer du Midi, despr\u00e9s a SHEM, aleshores filial de SNCF, actualment filial d&#8217;Engie. La capacitat d&#8217;emmagatzematge inicial de l&#8217;embassament de 13 milions de m<sup>3 <\/sup>s\u2019ha incrementat fins als 17 milions de m<sup>3 <\/sup>l&#8217;any 1947. Actualment, l&#8217;electricitat necess\u00e0ria per al funcionament de la l\u00ednia del Tren Groc \u00e9s subministrada per la xarxa nacional, a la qual estan connectades les centrals de la vall del Tet (SHEM\/Engie).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">El sistema hidroel\u00e8ctric de T\u00eat<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>El 1910, el sistema hidroel\u00e8ctric inclo\u00efa la central de la Cassanya, la presa de Bollosa i cinc subestacions de transformaci\u00f3 de corrent el\u00e8ctric que abastien principalment el Tren Groc. All\u00e0, les turbines Pelton transformen la for\u00e7a de l&#8217;aigua en electricitat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L&#8217;any 1913 es va posar en funcionament la central de Fontpedrosa. Subministrava la l\u00ednia de la Cerdanya i la l\u00ednia d&#8217;ample est\u00e0ndard Villefranche-Perpiny\u00e0. Sota una pluja fina, els homes es van instal\u00b7lar als dos vagons restants remolcant dos vagons plans carregats de baranes. Es fa un gest del conductor com a senyal de sortida i els cal\u00e7os s&#8217;eliminen abans d&#8217;hora.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Aparcat en un pendent de 60 mm\/m, el tren amb molta c\u00e0rrega va derivar sobre rails humits. Els frens no tenien pressi\u00f3 i les rodes es van bloquejar. El conductor va perdre el control del seu comboi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Despr\u00e9s d&#8217;un tram boig de 500 metres, els dos vagons van descarrilar i una mica m\u00e9s endavant els dos vagons es van estavellar contra el vessant de la muntanya en un lloc anomenat Paillat \u00bb.
