Particularity of the territory dating from 1659 and the Treaty of the Pyrenees, this Spanish territory of approximately 13 square kilometres is landlocked within the French department of the Pyr\u00e9n\u00e9es-Orientales. Llivia was originally coveted by both French and Spanish crowns.<\/p>\n\n
